Abstract Foams are mainly composed of dispersed gas trapped in a liquid or solid phase making them lightweight and thermally insulating materials. Additionally, they applicable for large surfaces, which makes attractive thermal insulation. State-of-the-art foams made synthetic polymeric materials such as polystyrene. This work focuses on generating foam from surfactants renewable lignocellulosic stealth material. The effect two (sodium dodecyl sulphate (SDS) polysorbate (T80)), cellulosic (bleached pulp nanocellulose), lignin the foaming stability was investigated using experimental design response surface methodology. volume-optimized determined were further studied with optical microscopy infrared imaging. results design, bubble structure foams, observations their conductivity showed that bleached SDS surfactant produced highest volume, best stability, good Lignin did not improve insulation properties foam, but it found to structural brought natural brown color foam.
